William Henry was born a few days after his parents landed in NY City from Ireland, as noted on his death certificate: "Just after landing of parents from ship board being emigrants from Ireland" Along with his brother Thomas, he also was a minister in the Christian Church in the Harriston, Ontario, area. His parish included Mount Forest, Arthur, Drayton, and several other small communities. In 1845 he and his brother, Rev. Thomas Henry, attended their brother's (James') funeral near Guelf. William was still alive in 1880, and at that time was the only surviving member of his father's family. William Henry was buried in the small cemetery behind the Jerusalem Christian Church; his remains were reinterred in the Harriston Cemetery in 1884 after Lot 26, Concession 14 was sold by his son, James. Dorcas Henry died August 2, 1885; she, too, was buried in the Harriston Cemetery.
